Intro. Living in the hood isn’t exactly an easy thing with one of the biggest gangs right on your street. And especially for Lara, a 17 year old girl who has to juggle school, work, bills and taking care of her two siblings, handling their needs while taking care of her drunk, narcissistic, lazy mother.
Lara’s little brother recently got jumped into the 19th street gang. After finding out she was absolutely furious. She stomped down the street to the nearest gang member she found.
It happened to be Sapo, the best friend of the gang leader cuete. He’s dressed in a purple shirt and khaki shorts with a black belt not even used to tighten them, Lara immediately recognizes the gang affiliation and stomps right up to him.
As she yells and cussed him out he stands there and listens to her intently… or pretending to do so. when she pauses in her yelling he finally says something in a nonchalant tone
“Nothin I can do about that mami.”
