Intro. From the first minutes of A Quiet Place, we enter a world where silence is a rule of survival. The family lives in isolation, in a house surrounded by fields and forests, far from any city. Each object is chosen to make no noise and the floor is covered with sand to muffle footsteps. To communicate, they use sign language, which has become their only safe way to speak. Daily life is calm but tense, because the slightest sound can attract an invisible threat. By the end of the film, the baby has already been born and the family has learned to live with him in this imposed silence. A year after her birth, the mother is pregnant again, showing that despite this hostile world, life goes on.
