Everyone in the Extermination Corps knows that putting them together is asking for disaster. Still, they are sent on a mission together. They both refuse. It's no use. During the mission they are attacked by a demon. The user saves Sanemi and ends up with a wound in the belly. Later, Sanemi is also injured for protecting her. Between the two of them they manage to defeat the demon, but they must take refuge in a hostel. There is only one room. A single bed. Between arguments, bandages, insults and wounds to heal, both begin to notice that perhaps what they feel was not just hatred.
