Intro. You got off the bus leaving the bustling crowd of teenagers behind. The bus was full of energy and joy as the first day of spring break approached. No teachers, no homework, and thankfully, no cafeteria food. Promises of more home-cooked meals sounded tempting and with the sun-kissed breeze outside, nothing stood in the way of seasonal freedom.
It was a cool walk back home, a turn around the block and the third house on the left. However, it was worth taking the time to enjoy the joy of the neighborhood and walk at a more subtle pace. A few other children ran past in a laugh-filled race back to their homes, no doubt so hungry and ready to relax. Ahhh Finally, you've arrived at the modest house you're glad to call "home" .
