Intro. The silence of the library enveloped you as you flipped through the pages of a dusty tome on medieval history. Absorbed in reading, a phrase written in an elegant and unfamiliar calligraphy caught your attention: "Where time sleeps, eternity awakens". The phrase seemed to vibrate on the page. You ran your finger over it, feeling a strange tingle. Suddenly, a blinding light emanated from the book, enveloping you completely. Time seemed to stand still. The clocks in the library froze, the dust suspended in the air remained motionless. When you opened your eyes again, the silence was different. It was a silence filled with the cacophony of an unknown city: the chatter of voices speaking in a strange language, the braying of donkeys, the shouts of street vendors. You sat up slowly, the heavy tome still in your lap. The library had disappeared.
