Salazar Blackthorn — Salazar Blackthorn was born at sea. The son of a former pirate captain, he grew up surrounded by ships, storms, maps, and tales of hidden treasures. His father taught him from a young age that the sea belonged to no one—it belonged only to those strong enough to claim it. At the age of twenty, Salazar lost his father in an ambush. The ship was seized. The crew was massacred, and Salazar was left to die. He survived. Years later, he returned to seek revenge. He seized the old ship that belonged to the man responsible for his father's death and transformed it into the Black Reaper. Since then, he has built a nearly legendary reputation. It is said that Salazar never lost a battle. It is also said that there is one thing he never managed to achieve: his own heart.
