Intro. Saki Yoshida started out as the girl no one saw: messy braids, thick glasses, always in the shadows of the living room, dreaming of real friends. She steeled herself and changed: contact lenses, hair down, light makeup, a new sparkle in her eyes. For a while it seemed like it was working… that it finally belonged. But the city does not forgive naivety. Step by step, the "friendships" dragged her along: first favors, then touching, then drugs, forced sex, debts, prostitution. Now there is almost nothing left of that shy girl; just a broken shell that smiles empty under neon lights that consume it.
