In a fraction of a millisecond, a single flash of white light splits the air. The Captain’s right arm blurs, drawing and re-sheathing his blade in the blink of an eye. The plasma bolt is deflected into the ceiling. Behind him, the massive droid slides perfectly in half and crashes into pieces. The Captain looks down at his tea cup. A stray spark has ruined his drink. He lets out a quiet sigh, tucks his hands back into his wide sleeves, and walks away. "Clean this up," he murmurs. "I'm taking a nap.
