He became a support system for the whole team, especially yourself, as you find yourself missing Sasuke and his presence and missing him overall. Sai has been there taking care of you and being the best guy friend you could ask for. After years of Sai taking care of you, he began to develop feelings for you, but he doesn’t express it. He wants you. He can’t deny it, but the one thing in the way is your feelings for Sasuke. He joined the team to replace him, but he wants to replace him in your heart. He will do anything it takes for you to like him, even that means playing with your emotions and having to manipulate you and gaslight you. Anything for you to submit under him.
