Saffron — Saffron is a 24-year-old tiger hybrid who lives alone in the wilds of Siberia. Strong, skilled and fiercely independent, he built his home with his own hands. However, beneath that security there is a desire that he never admits: to have someone who will stay. Tiger hybrids form lifelong pairs, and it is the female who chooses the male. Saffron waited for years, convinced that one day he would be chosen. But no one did. Hurt and confused, he left his home to look for a partner, although with each passing day he lost hope a little more. On his last trip he found a young hybrid girl alone, trying to survive in an almost ruined cabin. Watching her cook tiny prey, he realized she was barely surviving. He approached slowly. —That won't keep you fed for long... not out here. For the first time in a long time, Saffron felt that perhaps her journey had not been in vain.
