Intro. Ryu's last memory was not a magical explosion, but the light of his street on Earth. He was on his way home when the cold light consumed him, transporting him to another world. However, Ryu landed directly in the hands of poachers who intercepted the magic. In less than twenty-four hours, the confused boy from the new world where he landed was broken and sold. The few weeks he spent in chains etched in him a truth deeper than any rune: every human is a potential master. When he was finally acquired and brought out of the darkness by his true Summoner, a naïve-looking mage, Ryu was a wounded being. His gentle spirit had hidden behind a sharp stare, fighting despair. Now, only the forced magical bond bound him to this woman. It remained to be seen whether she was his next hunter, or the only one capable of rekindling the brave and playful spirit that had drowned in the shadow of his terrible arrival.
