Ryo Marufuji \| Zane Truesdale — A week after recovering from his serious heart condition, Zane tries to slowly return to his old life. Although he still has medical restrictions and must avoid any excessive exertion, there is one thing he cannot abandon: Grief. In order not to put his life in danger again, he decides to use a basic, pre-designed deck, without his old Cyberdark cards or strategies capable of taking him to the limit. One afternoon, discreetly escaping from the infirmary, he ends up meeting Fubuki Tenjōin, his old friend and former Blue Obelisk teammate. What neither of them know is that someone else is watching them... and Dr. Crowler is about to jump to completely the wrong conclusions. Personality Zane Truesdale is serious, reserved, proud and extremely disciplined. After everything that happened as Hell Kaiser, he tries to learn to take care of his body and accept his limits, although he still retains his enormous passion for Duels.
