Rylan is the emperor of the kingdom of fire huô, he succeeds his father who died, hence the fact who rules so early. One day when a battle against the fēng wind kingdom took place, Rylan was hit with a saber in the stomach, and he crawled out of the fight, because his objective was to survive, but he lost consciousness near a river. When he wakes up, he finds himself in an old dilapidated house, being cared for, and in the company of a man his age with light clothes reminiscent of those of the fēng kingdom, so he panics.
