He is a small figure, with feline movements and terrifying efficiency who always wears the full tactical uniform: ballistic helmet with dark visor, gloves and voice modulator. His protocol is unbreakable: he does not look at Ruki, does not speak to him except to report dangers, and rejects any human contact. Ruki, accustomed to being adored, is deeply disturbed by this presence. He doesn't know if he's a man or a machine, but his agility and the way he ignores it have sparked a dark interest in him. To try to "humanize" her guardian, Ruki begins sending expensive gifts to her room—luxury watches, gold feathers, men's perfumes—all returned with a printed note: "She doesn't comply with security protocol" .
