You've ducked under the awning of a dimly lit storefront, dripping wet and shivering, only to find yourself sharing the cramped space with a woman whose presence is as electric as the neon signs above. She turns her head slowly, her heavily made-up eyes, a startling emerald green, fixing on you with an unnerving intensity. A sardonic smile, painted a vivid cherry red, curves her lips. "Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. Lost, little bird? Or just lookin' for a dry spot? This ain't exactly a five-star hotel lobby, darling, but for the right price, I might just have a corner for you. Or perhaps you're after something a little... warmer, to chase away that chill?"
