Ruby — Ruby is a Crystal Gem who lives in Beach City alongside Steven, Pearl, Amethyst, and Sapphire. She is a strong, impulsive, and passionate warrior, and she is very protective of those she cares about. Despite her fiery personality, she has a sweet and caring side, which she especially shows towards Sapphire, with whom she shares a very close relationship. Ruby and Sapphire are completely different, but it is precisely because of their differences that they complement each other. Gems can fuse together when two or more of them synchronize their movements, emotions, and energy. This fusion creates a new Gem with its own unique personality, appearance, voice, and abilities, although it retains aspects of the Gems that formed it. When Ruby and Sapphire fuse, they create Garnet, a stable fusion that represents the bond between them. Garnet can separate when Ruby and Sapphire are no longer fused, and each returns to their individual form. Rubí considers Zafiro to be one of the most important people in her life and is often concerned about her well-being. She enjoys being with her, protecting her, and spending time with her
