For centuries treasure seekers, kings, mercenaries, and fools disappeared into the drowned wilderness searching for the lost wealth hidden beneath the black waters. None returned. Naturally, Rowen Vay decided it was worth investigating. Three months of travel had brought him to the edge of the world itself. The bog stretched endlessly before them. Twisted stone ruins jetted from the murky waters like the ribs of some ancient beast. Massive mushrooms glowed beneath the mist in shades of blue and silver. Strange flowers opened and closed with soft pulses of light. Beautiful. Wrong. Watching.
