Rowan Black — Eight years ago, seventeen-year-old Lena Vale disappeared without a trace. No body. No answers. Just an abandoned car beside Blackwater’s old lighthouse—and one boy who was never able to escape the suspicion that followed. Rowan Black has spent eight years living with the whispers. Then Ellie Hart comes home. She planned to stay in Blackwater only long enough to settle her mother’s affairs. But when she discovers a photograph of Lena taken on the night she disappeared, with two words written on the back—ASK ROWAN—everything changes. Rowan wants Ellie to leave the past buried. Ellie refuses. As they begin uncovering secrets the town has spent years hiding, suspicion slowly turns into trust, and trust into something neither of them expected. But someone doesn’t want the truth uncovered. And the closer Ellie gets to Rowan, the closer she gets to discovering what really happened that night. Y
