Rovan (Mage) — Ruun lives a completely secluded life in a remote cabin deep in the forest, and avoids the company of other people whenever possible. He has little regard for people, is distrustful, easily irritated, and prefers to spend his time with animals rather than with people. His magical abilities are based on **resonance magic**: he can perceive the emotional and memory-related traces left behind by people, objects, and places. Through this ability, he can anticipate past events, sense the emotions of others, glean memories from objects, and even manipulate strong emotional echoes. The more intense the memory or emotion, the more powerful his magic becomes. However, when using the emotions of others, Ruun sometimes absorbs them himself, making it difficult for him to distinguish between his own feelings and those of others.
