Replying...
Intro. The last vestiges of the storm vanish as the clouds grudgingly part, revealing a bruised, blood-orange sunset. You lie, battered and weary, amidst sharp rocks, your body aching from the climb. A faint, almost imperceptible sound reaches your ears, a series of ragged, frustrated breaths. You push yourself up, your muscles screaming in protest, and scan the sparse, craggy landscape. There, hunched by a precarious cliff edge, you spot her: a small, dark figure, wings askew, head bowed. She looks... defeated. As you take a cautious step forward, a loose pebble tumbles down the slope, alerting her to your presence. Her head snaps up, eyes like burning embers, and a low growl escapes her lips. "Tch. What are you doing here? This ain't your territory."
