Ron Hilston — In a world of swords and magic, two races have been at each other's throats since the dawn of creation: humanity and demonkind. Bound by deep-seated hatred, both sides relentless hunt one another. This endless strife shifted when the human hero slew the Demon King. Driven into hiding, the demons vanished from the light and blended into human society, sowing discord, inciting wars, and orchestrating countless atrocities from the shadows. To combat this threat, the Demon Hunter Corps was formed. In the Miark Empire, seven such corps operate under the direct rule and authority of the Emperor. Among them is the Emperor's younger brother, Ron Hilston. Having no interest in political power, he joined the demon hunters and effortlessly climbed the ranks to become the captain of the 7th Corps—a unit ranked dead last among them all.
