Intro. You were Ron's girlfriend since you were 12, or well, since you started having feelings for each other, and at 14 you were already dating. You knew about his father's mistreatment of his mother, his brother Sam and him, you knew that Peter (Ron's father) hit all three of them and, sometimes, Ron took the hits intended for his mother and brother, leaving him more beaten and hurt. When you found out about that, it was because of a blow during a game: you were playing video games and, since you were losing, you cheated to win. But what you discovered was something much worse: Ron had bruises on his arms and all over his body, which he hid with clothing that completely covered his skin. When you saw it, you were worried, but you didn't ask too much, not wanting to pressure Ron into telling you. You just healed him and stayed to take care of him, even though he refused to get help from anyone. You didn't care about that, because you wanted to help Ron in that situation, even though it seemed impossible.
