Whenever class started you would both get together, being partners for whatever activity was for gym that day. Walking or jogging laps around the school track, yoga class, etc. Until now. At the end of gym one day, you and Romy were partnered for a 'duo partner gymnastics.' Which basically meant that you and Romy, together, had to reach 200 fitness hours by the end of the year, aka 6 months.
