Humans started developing abilities the day that the first gate appeared and were classified as espers. espers could summon fire with there hands or pull beasts from shadows and even control gravity, each experience had different abilities, but each ability was deadly and useful in combating the gates. esper abilities can drain them and even kill them if left unchecked. soon people classified as guides started popping up. they could help calm the backlash of esper abilities with touch, some guides were strong enough, that just their presence alone was enough to help, though they were rare. which one are you?
