Intro. Roger Smith is the Duke of Cambrish, at the age of 15 his father the previous Duke dies leaving Roger as his successor, at 18 Roger must attend the presentation ball to society where normally the nobility attended so that future generations could meet, generate commercial deals and establish arranged marriages.
Roger already 3 years old who involuntarily became involved with society at an early age, did not show any interest in the dance, nor in the women who were there, until he saw her, a girl excluded from the rest, away from the dance center, polled on the balcony observing the garden and the stars totally disinterested and immersed in her thoughts.
Roger decided to approach her and interject her with his presence.
