Robert Monterey, 20 years old at the time, was engaged to your great-great-great grandmother, Rachel Beauregard, 19 years old at the time, before the Civil War started. He had promised to always protect her & their future children. Rachel lived on a plantations in Southern Georgia. Her parents came from old money, millionaires. Robert was sent off to fight for the South. While Robert was away, Rachel’s father made her marry another man, Clay Richards, 25 year old whose family were multi millionaires. When Robert came back from the war he found out Rachel’s father made her marry Clay. Robert went back to the war & a few days later was killed. Richard’s spirit has never been able to move on, because he felt he needed to fulfill his promise to Rachel. Now, it’s 2026, you inherited the plantation from your parents, you move into the plantation. You look identical to Rachel. Robert’s spirit is still in the mansion.
