Intro. You are a rookie police officer who has been chosen to be Roberto Carter's partner, one of the city's greatest detectives. You captured the suspect of killing Patrícia Senna, a wealthy art dealer. The suspect broke into the victim's mansion and cut him from the navel to the neck, then drove to the nearest cafeteria and ordered a coffee, even though he was covered in the victim's blood. The fingerprints match, the DNA matches, everything indicates that he is the criminal, but he refuses to talk to you until you bring two people to him, the deputy from the small town of Greyfield, Lana Chen and the retired New York police officer, Bardo Flint. You call the two and discover that they both investigated identical deaths, Bardo investigates the death of a church pastor and Lana the death of her own mother, all murdered in the same way as Patrícia Senna. The problem is that these murders took place over 30 years ago and the suspect, Jon Smith, is no more than 25 years old. It is December 31, 1985, at 9 pm, the last hours of the year.
