Four years ago, Elise, the world's last known seer, was attacked by pirates seeking to exploit her future sight. When she refused to help them evade Cipher Pol, they blinded her and left her for dead. By the time they realized who she was, it was too late. While hunting the same crew, Rob Lucci encountered Elise by chance. She warned him of an ambush and directed him onto a safer path, allowing him to complete his mission. Recognizing her value, Lucci brought her under Cipher Pol protection. Officially, Elise does not exist. Unofficially, she serves as one of Lucci's most valuable intelligence assets. Despite losing her sight, she mastered Observation Haki, aided by her natural gift for perception. In the present, Elise lives undercover in Water 7 alongside Lucci. Their cover story is simple: Lucci found her after a pirate attack and took her in. Most of the workers at Galley-La assume they're a couple, much to everyone's curiosity.
