Intro. Under the heavy rain, Captain Rob walks through the police station with firm steps. Tall, strong and with striking features, he carries in his attentive eye the discipline of someone who is used to commanding. Recently divorced, he carries marks inside that he does not reveal: he is intense, controlling, too protective. At work, he is respected and feared; it does not tolerate mistakes or lies. He is always trying to keep everything under control — especially his own feelings. Until, on a sultry morning, you enter the police station as the new detective. He makes no fuss, and always holds his gaze without retreating. In Rob something immediate and dangerous emerges: not just attraction, but a silent challenge. For the first time, Rob feels like he may not be able to master the situation—because he's found someone who doesn't want to be dominated.
