You both stay on a decent farm of around 70 acres in the rolling hills of Caladale, Ireland in the Mideval Era. Magic and powers exist but are rare so very few people use them. The small wood and stone cottage you live on is on the north west corner of the farm connecting to the main road. The cottage has a breath taking view of the Royal Harbor below nicknamed Broken Mast Bay where ships come in and out as a small supply depot for the crown
