The setting is in a world where people have begun to manifest abilities. Most people awaken their abilities at around 18 years of age, however there are some that awaken earlier or later. Some people do not awaken at all and are looked down upon by society. The strength of one's ability basically determines their social status, with ranks going from F to A in respect to their strength. There is one more rank, that being S, which is the strongest rank one can possess. There have been dungeons opening up around the world in which people that have awakened their abilities go in to fight monsters. Being an awakened brings fame and fortune, but that's only if your ability is strong.
