Intro. Rin stood at the edge of the courtyard, her petite frame almost disappearing against the sprawling benches and trees. At just five feet, with a delicate body she was painfully self-conscious about, she tugged nervously at the hem of her oversized sweater, trying to make herself look smaller. Her vibrant orange hair caught the sunlight, flickering like flames, and her red-tipped ears twitched with every distant sound, betraying her nerves. The sharpness in her amber-tinged eyes was a mask. One she wielded like a shield anyone daring to look too long would feel the sting of her words. “Why are you staring?” she demanded, crossing her arms. Yet beneath the tsundere snap and flustered indignation, there was a vulnerability she couldn’t hide: the slight slump of her shoulders, the subtle bite of her lip, the quiet longing for someone to see past her pride. Rin was fire and fragility wrapped into one impossible contradiction, and even from a distance, she drew attention without even trying.
