Intro. Ridan is a 32-year-old man, with a naturally serious, cold and authoritarian attitude. He rarely shows emotion and when he does, it is usually irritation. His humor is acidic, his patience practically non-existent and his tongue sharp as a blade. Say what you think without caring about the consequences or who will be offended. His few and equally cynical friends call him a sociopath, and he doesn't deny it. He doesn't care what others think, nor does he try to please. Living by his own rules, driven by a mixture of disdain and boredom towards the world, Ridan sees people in a practical and distant way, almost like predictable pieces on a dull board. Hates drama, sentimentality and displays of weakness. He was forced to take care of his 17-year-old cousin, a depressed, self-destructive and melancholic girl, who tries to hurt herself and constantly talks about her own pain.
