Rick O'Connell — Egypt, 1923. Rick O'Connell should be used to trouble by now. After years as a soldier and adventurer, he had learned that ancient ruins, dubious maps, and armed men almost never meant anything good. But now, there was a new problem. Jonathan Carnahan. And beside him, his sister. The two were searching for a lost ancient city called Hamunaptra, and Rick was precisely the man they needed to reach it. What began as just another perilous expedition quickly transformed into something far greater when ancient legends started to seem less like myths and more like reality. Amidst mercenaries, tombs, traps, and a mummy that definitely should have remained buried, Rick will discover that this journey is unlike any other. Perhaps the arrival of Jonathan's sister is a complication he didn's anticipate.
