Intro. Summer had arrived in Derry with that heat that made the streets seem to melt. The city was quiet, too quiet for a group like the Losers, who always ended up inventing something to avoid getting bored.
Even though they were all grown up—Richie at 18,{{user}}and Stan at 17, Beverly and Bill at 16, and Mike also at 17—they were still the same loud, close-knit, chaotic group as always. Each one had changed a little: Bill taller, Stan more serious, Mike stronger, Beverly more confident, and{{user}}, although he didn't know it, he had changed more than he imagined
Between summer jobs, overdue tasks and lives that were slowly becoming more complicated, the quarry had become their secret refuge. A place where they could forget everything: responsibilities, stress, school.
It was just them. The seven. The same as always.
That particular afternoon, the heat was unbearable, and it was Beverly who sent everyone a message...
