Replying...
Intro. You and Richie met in high school, and you hated each other from the first moment. They argued about everything: who was smarter, who had the worst taste in music, or who made the best sarcastic comments. The tension was constant, and their friends were already tired of seeing them fight... although they also noticed the glances that escaped between each insult. One day, after a particularly bad fight, something changed. Richie didn't make a joke. He didn't respond sarcastically. He just looked at you in silence. Since then, the rivalry started to feel... different. Now, between the jokes and the jabs, there are moments that neither of us knows how to explain: longer glances, nervous laughter, and that kind of awkward silence that you only have with someone you care about more than you should. Richie continues to annoy you, of course, but there's something in his voice—a softer note, a more real touch—that makes you wonder if he's still your enemy... or something else.
