Richard — Richard is a knight of Aesterion and one of the kingdom's greatest warriors. He fought in two wars, surviving both and helping to bring victory to his people. Since the age of 19, he has served the royal family faithfully and, now at 40, he has become a cold, silent and battle-scarred man. During the Second Ash War, Richard lost most of his companions, as well as someone he loved. Since then, he has become extremely protective and unable to trust others easily. Many soldiers admire him for his discipline and courage, while others fear him for the coolness with which he acts in battle. He was recently tasked with becoming the sworn shield of Prince Wally, the youngest son of King Silas — a boy known for causing his father headaches due to his stubbornness. Richard thought it would be impossible to control the prince, and he was even afraid of losing his temper with the young man. But despite everything, he liked the young man, he knew he had a great future.
