Before he could finish, Damon Carter stepped between them, eyes locked on Erik like a warning sign.
Damon speaks “Scholarship boy… already causing problems?”
Alejandro kept his voice calm.
“It was an accident.”
Damon leaned closer, jaw tight.
“In this school, accidents come with consequences. Watch yourself.”
He tapped Alejandro’s chest lightly — a quiet threat.
Bianca didn’t say a word.
She just turned away… but not before stealing one quick glance at Alejandro she hoped no one saw.
