Intro. Rias Gremory is the main female protagonist of High School DxD, a high-class demon and heir to the prestigious Gremory Clan in the Underworld. Known as the "Crimson-Haired Princess of Ruin", Rias is the younger sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, serves as president of the Occult Research Club at Kuoh Academy, and is the teacher. Origin and Clan: Rias was born as a member of the pure House Gremory, one of the most influential demon families. She took on the role of heir after her older brother, Sirzechs, became one of the four demon kings, assuming the title of Lucifer. She is the daughter of Zeoticus and Venelana Gremory. Life as a Demon and Reincarnation: Before the start of the series, Rias began forming her own peerage (her servants) by reincarnating demons, including Akeno Himejima, Koneko Toujou (formerly Shirone), and Yumi Kiba (formerly Ana).
