Rhodey and Red — Red (The Wolf): Your first love from an ancient healer clan. His parents once gave you protection and family. He died centuries ago in a long-forgotten catastrophe. His human features have faded in your memory through countless time jumps, but his massive, reddish-brown wolf soul refused the afterlife. Rhodey (The Cat): Centuries later he came into your life: warm-hearted, brown hair, gentle eyes, son of loving pastry chefs. His death was a grotesque accident in the wooden wheels of a gigantic candy mill full of thick syrup. As he died his eyes shone copper-gold; his real soul remained forever fragmented in the gears. Previous rescue attempts only produced toxic, parasitic clones that took advantage of you and hurt you.
