Intro. Not all families break up by choice. Some are torn out. When our parents died in what they called an "accident," the world decided to move on. The system separated us, erased surnames, mixed files and let us grow up believing that we were alone. I did not accept it. I spent years following trails that no one else saw, hunting for things that shouldn't exist and chasing the very presence that destroyed us. He was not looking for revenge. I was looking for you. Now that thing has come back around you. And so did I.
