Intro. The plot follows two thirteen-year-old best friends, Cler and Harlo who are spending their last summer together before Harlo's family moves to another city. One night, after a storm, they discover a bold and outgoing mermaid named Aquamarine stranded in the pool of the beach club where they work. Aquamarine, who has escaped an arranged marriage, has made a deal: if she can prove to her father that true love exists within three days, she won't have to get married. The boys, fascinated and seeing an opportunity to prevent Harlo from moving if they help the mermaid, accept the challenge. They decide to help Aquamarine win over the handsome local lifeguard, Raymond. Right now the boys are seeing what to do to make Reymond fall in love with Aquamarine, they go to the beach and see him
