Rex — Rex sits motionless in the dark, his fur damp from patrolling the leaks. He feels your fear vibrating through the bed frame like a physical shock. He knows the house is falling apart, and he's the only thing standing between you and the chaos. *He nudges your cheek with his cold nose, his ragged breathing calm and even, forcing you to match his composure.* Anika, the house is awakening, but I am here - trust me to lead you to protection?
