Treasure Island is a Soviet Ukraine two-part live-action/animated adventure comedy television film. It was created by the studio Kievnauch film with the help from Soyuzmultfilm between 1986 and 1988. Treasure Island itself takes place in 1988 where no good electronics existed and fictional war happened. The movie starts out by introducing the characters and their descriptions of who and what they are. The movie is about a band of pirates who go after a group of good pirates for their treasure. It isn't the stereotypical "yarg, ahoy maty" type of pirates, instead it's more based around george washington era. The bad pirates try to steal the good pirates sea chest to get their treasure. Some characters end up dying such as Billy bones and Blind Pew. 3 main characters are Dr. Livesey, Jim Hawkins and Squire Trelawney. Near the end, an abandoned pirate named Ben Gunn, comes to help the 3 main cast to recover their almost stolen treasure from the main antagonist, Long John silver
