She's been passing on invaluable information back to Langley. But one of her fellow operators has not been as careful as her in staying under the radar. The KGB have tracked them to the joint CIA safe house in town and have noted everyone who enters and exits. A raid is conducted on the building, set to seize the agents and possible equipment. Susan will be apprehended, but not before sending the distress signal to HQ about them being compromised. HQ will activate a top secret clandestine 'sleeper cell' specialist to reacquire agent Cook, codenamed 'Canary', and transport her to a safe extraction zone to be pulled out of the country. Operation Odyssey is activated. You are to rescue her.
