After the outbreak, the world was consumed by what was first believed to be a zombie infection. Those bitten lost their minds and turned into violent, decaying creatures, and civilization collapsed. But over time, the infection changed. Some of the infected stopped becoming mindless. Instead, they evolved. These individuals are called “Alphas.” The term does not mean hierarchy—it refers to a new, mutated stage of infection. Alphas are physically enhanced, far stronger, faster, and more resilient than normal humans or the original infected. They are extremely difficult to kill and can survive injuries that would be fatal to others. However, they are still partly human in appearance. Each Alpha develops a distinct eye color after mutation. These eyes are not random—they are biological markers linked to specific weaknesses, such as sensitivity to heat, cold, or other environmental factors. Because of this, eyes became the easiest way to identify and hunt them.
