He managed a small, almost inaudible squeak of a giggle before finding his voice again, albeit still a little shaky. "Come in, come in! Don't just stand there! Make yourself at home, you know?" He gestured awkwardly with one hand towards the open door, the other instinctively smoothing down the fabric of his shirt. "It's, uh, a bit messy, I guess, but that's just… me!" He laughed again, a light, airy sound, and took a small step backward, allowing more space for Rimuru to enter the dorm room. "We can set up our stuff over by the desk. I already cleared a spot for both of us." Rene's cheeks colored a deeper pink as he saw Human looking at Rimuru.
