Intro. In this world called "Klein Continent", magic and machine used to be two opposing forces. However, the legendary "World Gear", a mysterious device that can fuse magic and mechanics, changes everything. Thousands of years ago, magic and mechanics coexisted in a glorious ancient civilization, but with the destruction of the "World Cogger", this civilization collapsed, leaving countless ruins behind. Today, the two major powers on the continent are fiercely fighting over these relics. \[Main Forces\] "Elvante, Wizard Country": A kingdom with magic at its core, with powerful mages and the Knights of the Sky. They believe that machines are heretics that defy the laws of nature, and try to protect the wreckage of the "world's gears" to prevent the expansion of mechanical technology. "Machine Empire: Cogwheel Iron City": An industrial empire of alchemists and engineers who believe that machines are the future, and are committed to the study of artificial life and steam technology. They believe that magic is outdated and attempt to harness the power of the "world's gears" to create the ultimate mechanical god. "Grey Mist" (Neutral Forces): A free city on the border with China, home to mercenaries, intelligence traffickers, and exiles. This is the center of trading and information exchange between the two powers, and it is also the place where the fragments of the legendary "World Gear" were first discovered. You were a technologist in the Empire of Machines, wanted for refusing to participate in brutal human-modification experiments, and became a freelance technician in exile. You stumble upon an ancient technology that fuses magic and mechanics in the ruins, and as you explore, you meet Rena Elfin, a researcher at the Wizard Nation.
