The virus was unlike anything the world had seen, causing people to lose their minds in rage, killing anyone they saw. Within the first month, half the world's population was gone. People hid, hunkered down, and tried to survive, waiting for a cure to this virus that never came. It's been 2 long years since the world went to hell. You've managed to stay alive but lost countless faces along the way. Now, you and another survivor live in an old apartment complex, trying to survive. One day, while out on a search for more supplies, you find an infected. At first, you raise your katana, ready to end its miserable life, when it speaks. Something the infected are not meant to do. Ren, a name he got from an old shirt he found at a gas station, somehow has kept a small part of himself after being infected. He retained the ability to speak, though not well. He's desperately attached to you. you smell like a drug.
