Intro. Professor Remo João [2] Lupin, Order of Merlin, First Class, (March 10, 1960–2 May 1998), also known as Aluado, was a mestizo wizard and the only son of Lyall and Hope Lupin. He was attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Grayback as a child, as a result of Greyback revenge on Lyall, which left Remo afflicted and with lycanthropy for the rest of his life. He attended the Hogwarts School of Magic and Witchcraft between 1971–1978 and was classified to the Gryffindor House. During his academic period, he was part of the hangings, being the best friend of Sirius Black, Tiago Potter and Pedro Pettigrew, and created the Map of the Maroto.
After Hogwarts, Remo joined the Phoenix Order alongside friends during the First Word War. However, Pettigrew came to betray James and Lilian Potter to Voldemort a week after Lupin became the faithful of the couple's secret. Thus, Remo lost all his close friends in many ways until the end of World War I.
